1. Scope

These terms apply to the Shooting Percentage website and supplement the license terms governing the Shooting Percentage app. By using the website or app, you agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws.

2. App license

Unless a custom end-user license agreement is displayed in the App Store, the app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The app is licensed, not sold.

3. Intended use

Shooting Percentage is a basketball training aid. It estimates makes, attempts and shooting percentages based on use of the app and user confirmations. It is not an official scoring system, professional coaching service, medical device or safety system.

4. Detection accuracy

Motion-based detection is not error-free. Shot fakes, rebounds and similar movements may occasionally be detected as attempts, and some attempts may not be recognized. Statistics should be treated as training estimates. Available correction controls should be used when a record needs adjustment.

5. Safe use

Use the app only when it is safe to do so. Remain aware of players, equipment and your surroundings. Do not interact with an iPhone while moving on court. Stop using the app if it distracts from safe play or if a device or band is not securely worn.

6. Availability and compatibility

Features may depend on compatible Apple hardware, operating-system versions, permissions and a paired-device connection. Features may be changed, improved or discontinued where reasonably necessary. No uninterrupted or error-free availability is promised.

7. Intellectual property

The app, website, branding, text, graphics and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as allowed by the applicable app license or mandatory law, they may not be copied, reverse engineered, modified, redistributed or used to create a competing service.

8. Third-party services

Apple services, the App Store, the system share sheet and destinations selected by the user are governed by their respective terms. Shooting Percentage is not responsible for third-party services outside the developer's control.

9. Liability

Liability is governed by applicable law and the applicable app license. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated when the app, website or legal requirements change. The current version and revision date are published on this page.
