Quick start
- Wear Apple Watch on your guide-hand wrist. Make sure the app setting matches how the watch is worn.
- Select a mode. Choose 2's, 3's, Mix or FT. Automatic shot detection starts with the session.
- If you make the shot, no action is required.
- If you miss, wait until the shot is logged. Then briefly tap your leg or hip twice with your palm, or clap twice. The attempt will be counted as a miss.
- Review the result. Save the session and open the iPhone companion app to explore your history.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need both an iPhone and Apple Watch?
The shot-tracking experience is designed for Apple Watch. The companion iPhone app is used to review history, trends and personal records.
Why does Shooting Percentage need Motion access?
Motion access allows the app to recognize shooting activity and confirmation gestures on the watch. Raw motion data is not stored or sent to the developer.
Why does the app request Health access?
HealthKit workout authorization is used to manage a basketball workout session so detection can continue when the Apple Watch display dims. The app does not request read access to heart rate or health history and does not store or transmit heart-rate values.
Is every shot guaranteed to be recognized?
No motion-based tracker is perfect. Shot fakes, high rebounds or similar movements may occasionally be detected as attempts, and some shots may be missed. Use the in-app correction controls when needed.
Where is my history stored?
Training history and settings are stored locally in the private app containers on your devices and synchronized only between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch.
How do I remove my data?
Use the available reset or deletion controls in the app. To remove every local copy, delete the app from both the paired iPhone and Apple Watch.
The watch is detecting too many or too few shots. What can I do?
Confirm that Watch Orientation matches how your watch is worn and adjust the sensitivity setting. Lower sensitivity if too many movements are counted; raise it if too few shots are recognized.
What should I include in a support email?
Describe what happened, your iPhone and Apple Watch models, the iOS and watchOS versions, the selected mode and the app version. Do not send health data or raw motion recordings unless specifically requested for a support case.
